More testing

All,
Now that George has run successfully and demonstrated that the benchmark
suite is working correctly at Kaust, it is time to ask our next batch of
volunteers to proceed!
At ISC, we had 6 volunteers to do this. I've added you six on the bcc
line; please join the mailing list if you haven't already (

with any questions you have about how to do the benchmarking.

Results from KAUST - Lustre

Dear all,
I have the results from KAUST on our Lustre with 1000 compute nodes.

We did develop an “embarrassing parallel find”, basically it is a really simple C tool where MPI process executes find on different folder. We have seen some nice results compared to default solution, some cases from 4000 IOPs became ~61000 IOPs when we increased significant the participated MPI processes.

Results from KAUST on DataWarp Burst buffer

Dear all,
Although I miss some data, I have the first results on DataWarp Burst Buffer from our site.

I will update with more data when I have available resources, also note that I used only 300 compute nodes, I plan to use more than 3000 nodes or even more, but this moment our machine is quite busy. Moreover, I will upload results with Lustre when again I have available resources.
