Dear attendees,
we are looking forward to the summer school next month.

We have now prepared a virtual machine that contains the software that
will be necessary for training.
If you like to participate in the tutorial sessions, you should setup
the Virtual Machine before the summer school to make sure that it
generally works on your machine.

We provide a tutorial to setup the Virtual Machine in [1].
The VM comes with Ubuntu and all the software for the training
installed. Attendees may setup the VM on their PC to perform most of the
training. Some training may be on a dedicated cluster.

If you have any questions regarding the setup that cannot be answered by
the documentation in [1], feel free to add comments to it.

Our mailing list [2] serves the purpose to simplify communication and
allows you as participants and the trainers
